BACKGROUND

The ABPMR Foundation was established in 2000 to institute and conduct scientific research and educational activities. The Foundation is guided by a Board of Directors. Developed to support the activities of the ABPMR, the Foundation’s work complements the Board’s mission of enhancing the quality of care provided by physicians certified in the specialty of PM&R, and subspecialties of spinal cord injury medicine, pain medicine, and pediatric rehabilitation medicine.
